Hi there,

after several attempts of compiling python-2.1b1, i'm at the
beginning.
Most extensions didn't build for me.
Even install of the core didn't work with a simple
make install
It stops, claiming 'there is no extension called ...'
At last i tried:

make -k -w install

so i got it installed, but with no extension.

Is there a trick?

BTW, setup.py needs to be modified to find tcl/tk/tix libs,
because of the unusual names for them on cygwin.

Ciao,

Gerrit
