| Subject: | help please, can't install bash |
Hi all,
I am new to cygwin mailing list.
I downloaded the full cygwin and in the first place I'm interested in
getting the bash running.
I unpacked and installed cygwin, so I clearly can see the cygwin1.dll in
J:\gnu\cygnus\latest\sygwin\usr\bin directory, but when I try to run
bash
from J:\gnu\cygnus\latest\bash\bin I get following message:
a required .dll file cygwin1.dll was not found
How do I tell the shell where it has to look for the cygwin1.dll file?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Mark
