hello, Suddenly (after installing some Rational s/w) my TERM variable is set to 'nutc'. The end of my prompt ' $' is done twice. TERM isnt mentioned in the executed scripts. here is what I see when I execute cygwin.bat which looks like this: d: chdir \cygwin\bin bash --login -i executing /etc/profile executing /cygdrive/d/tdorgan/.bashrc executing /cygdrive/d/tdorgan/.profile, TERM=nutc $ $ echo $TERM nutc $ $ all seems better if I export TERM=cygwin. any ideas would be appreciated. It's pretty nutty this nutc. tom. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get email at your own domain with Yahoo!
