Subject: | HELP - ctype not found with cygwin1 |
MIME-Version: | 1.0 |
Hi, I just installed all the latest cygwin stuff on an NT machine. As soon as I run gcc (actually the problem is really in cpp.exe) I get a windows popup "the procedure entry point _ctype_ could not be located in the dynamic link library cygwin1.dll". I'm not sure what I could have done wrong. It's a plain vanilla install of all the latest and greatest as of yesterday. I note that "strings cygwin1.dll | grep _ctype_" reveals that this string is in the library whatever that means. cygwin version appears to be 1.1.8-2 and gcc is 2.95.2-7. Please CC any advice to my email because I'm not on the mailing list. -- Want to unsubscribe from this list? Check out: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
