You mean the domainname command that gives the NIS or NIS+ domain?
Ummm... do you really mean that you are looking for NIS or NIS+ client
(or server, brrr, the mind boggles) functionality on cygwin?

Or do you just want a way to get the domain part of the FQDN of the
machine?
