Hello. I am opening a file with open(), and just read() from it. With Win 98, it is opened as a binary file. With Win 98 SE, it is opened as text file. How is it possible ? I'm not opening files on a mounted file system, but directly from Windows. Isn't supposed to be the same on all Windows versions ? -- /~~ Jean "Khali" Delvare -----\_ mail: delvare AT ensicaen DOT ismra DOT fr --------\ http://www.ensicaen.ismra.fr/~delvare/ ---=ISMRA/- ____________________________________________________ -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
