Subject: | New Cygwin DLL 1.1.8 Serial Bug? |
Hi Chris: I think I may have bumped into a new bug with the latest CYGWIN dll. I have an application the does non canonical serial i/o that worked previously until today when I updated the DLL. I am getting an (Resource temporarily unavailable) error back from the read on ttyS2. (a side note: why isn't port numbering consistent with Gnu/Linux?) It may be related to the length of the write previous to the read, as I can read successfully when I write only 19 bytes but fails when I write 75 bytes. I hope this makes sense, and Thanks for all your work on Cygwin -- joel my cygcheck -v -a -------------------------------------------------------- Cygnus Win95/NT Configuration Diagnostics Current System Time: Thu Feb 8 18:21:22 2001 WinNT Ver 4.0 build 1381 Service Pack 5 Path: /bin /usr/bin /usr/local/bin /WINNT/system32 /WINNT /c/DOS /c/xtgold SysDir: D:\WINNT\System32 WinDir: D:\WINNT PWD = `/source/rebcom-0.18' HOME = `/WINNT/Profiles/administrator' NUMBER_OF_PROCESSORS = `1' PROMPT = `$P$G' LOGONSERVER = `\\PII400' OS2LIBPATH = `D:\WINNT\system32\os2\dll;' TZ = `PST+08PDT' COMSPEC = `D:\WINNT\system32\cmd.exe' PAGER = `less' SYSTEMDRIVE = `D:' HISTFILE = `/WINNT/Profiles/administrator/.bash_history' HOSTNAME = `PII400' PROCESSOR_REVISION = `0502' HISTFILESIZE = `500' !D: = `D:\bin' PATHEXT = `.COM;.EXE;.BAT;.CMD' COMPUTERNAME = `PII400' CLASSPATH = `D:\Program Files\PhotoDeluxe 2.0\AdobeConnectables' WINDIR = `D:\WINNT' USERPROFILE = `D:\WINNT\Profiles\Administrator' MANPATH = `/usr/man:/usr/local/man:/usr/local/ssl/man:' PS1 = `[\u@\h] \W [\!] ' PS2 = `> ' PS3 = `Please select one of the options: ' PS4 = `+ bash:20 ' RCSINIT = `-zLT' LESS = `-i -e -M -P%t?f%f :stdin .?pb%pb\%:?lbLine %lb:?bbByte %bb:-...'
