I was just fooling around I wondering if I could compile the Linux 2.4.1
kernel in cygwin.

a `make menuconfig` in stackdumped on me resulting in the next few lines:

$ less LXDIALOG.EXE.stackdump
Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION at eip=00405E81
eax=00000000 ebx=145E2818 ecx=0000001A edx=0000005D esi=00000000

IALOG.EXE

End of stack trace

I scrolled down the whole initial list in the menu and then back up again
then I selected the 'development options' in `make menuconfig`. It seemed
like I did enter that menu briefly and then the stackdump occurred.

Thanks for the good work so far!
