I am guessing but I think the answer is simple..... The following is an extract from "perldoc perlrun" "Location of Perl It may seem obvious to say, but Perl is useful only when users can easily find it. When possible, it's good for both /usr/bin/perl and /usr/local/bin/perl to be symlinks to the actual binary. " Hence, I am guessing why you are getting "command not found"...... Perl's not being found...... You need to create a symlink from /usr/local/bin/perl to /bin/perl. The automake package inadvertently uses #!/usr/local/bin/perl which is not a problem if you have the symlink. Regards Trevor -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
