yes, lots and lots of people, but unless you've found an incompatibility
between cygwin and linux then you're headed OT on a list that's already
noise heavy on the S:N ratio.

(take a look at the message headers on the list traffic, you'll
see lots of us running mail clients on linux; or check the archives,
you'll find (among other references to the ultimate operating
envrionment) admissions from cygwin developers that many of the
packages they release were in fact cross compiled on linux)
