Hi,

Well I've looked through the mailing list archives and
the FAQ but I'm unable to find any suggestions about
how to ensure my network connection is working under W2K.

When I try to use ssh I get the following:
$ ssh -v ecarter AT eee DOT uci DOT edu
SSH Version OpenSSH_2.3.0p1, protocol versi
Compiled with SSL (0x0090581f).

Secure connection to eee.uci.edu refused.

What's all this connect: Invalid argument?

I get the same kind of errors with telnet, ftp, etc.
However, I can use ping.

I'm stumped..
Could someone enlighten me? --eric
