Subject: user mounts w/ ssh as a service?

Hello,

I'm using cygwin 1.1.6 on a w2k box, with OpenSSH_2.3.0p1 (as provided
w/ the 1.1.6 cygwin distribution). I've installed sshd as a service
using FireDaemon (service user is 'Local System' account, as is reqd for
NT authentication to work (yes ?)). All works well, except for user
mounts. After a fresh boot, none of the user mounts are present. If I
exit all cygwin clients (incl. stopping sshd), and start a "user" client
(say bash), the user mount is made. Repeating the above but starting the
sshd service first omits the user mounts.

Is there any way of getting cygwin to "rescan" the "mount table" for
varying user ids? (i.e. is there anything I can add to the user's login
stuff to get cygwin to make any/all mounts under that user's registry
entries?)

And while I'm here: is there any way of telling if the cygwin DLL is
active/loaded?

I read the list via the archive and would appreciate an explicit CC
if you please.

The nice thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from.
