No idea.  However, you should probably upgrade to the latest release by
visiting www.cygwin.com and clicking on "Install Now".  In addition to 
getting the most up-to-date software and possibly fixing your problem, 
you'll find folks on this list are a bit more responsive to problems found
using the current software.
