automake was on my list of 'cygutils stuff to push into main distro';
but it's probably better if you do it, Corinna.  Thanks.

FWIW, the current test-release of perl is based on 'perl-5.6.1-TRIAL1'
and as Eric Fifer mentioned, the 'real' perl-5.6.1 from Garusamy is not
expected until late January.  I imagine that the 'test' moniker will be
removed once

1) the real perl-5.6.1 source is released, and then
2) Eric builds a cygwin release based on that

If all goes according to schedule (hah!), perhaps perl-5.6.1 will be
non-test by mid-February.
