I'm not sure who fixed it, and I don't see a changelog entry for it,
but whoever it was that fixed the behviour of "rm -rf foo/" to error
instead of hang if foo/bar/yada/ was displayed in explorer or current
in another (non-cygwin) process has earned a large debt of gratitude:
