> If RedHat doesn't start putting users first, The net release of Cygwin has nothing to do with Red Hat, except that it happens to be hosted on a machine contributed by Red Hat. We (me, Chris, Corinna) work on the net release on our own time (time I would rather spend playing with my children). Red Hat has us doing other cygwin-related things for them (like GNUPro 2000, engineering contracts, etc), which use a different version of cygwin.
