I notice that the new version says (to bash --version): GNU bash, version 2.04.0(1)-release (i686-pc-cygwin) whereas the previous version said: GNU bash, version 2.04.0(3)-release (i686-pc-cygwin) You also mention 2.04-3 in your release note. The version of bash I have with a June 1 date says: GNU bash, version 2.04.0(1)-release (i586-pc-cygwin) -- John Wiersba > -----Original Message----- > From: Corinna Vinschen [mailto:vinschen AT redhat DOT com] > Sent: Thursday, October 19, 2000 11:55 AM > To: cygwin AT sources DOT redhat DOT com > Subject: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: bash-2.04-3 > > > I've updated the version of bash in cygwin/latest to 2.04-3. > > It fixes a bug in the pattern matching algorithm introduced > by a misapplied patch. > -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
