Yep, the cygwin gcc source (as seen in gcc-2.95.2-2-src.tar.gz) and the gcc source from gcc.gnu.org (checked out on 19991024) were different. I think there is work going on now to push the cygwin-specific changes from the cygwin-gcc into the official tree at gnu.org. Mumit's departure last May left a huge void, and only recently have a few folks stepped forward to partially fill his shoes. However, we shouldn't criticize Mumit for leaving; only appreciate him for his tremendous earlier contributions. --Chuck "Dehmel, Rüdiger" wrote: > > It looks like that there are differences between the > cygwin gcc 2.96.2 19991024 (release-2) > and the linux gcc 2.96.2 19991024 (release) > > 1. -fhuge-objects (see this thread) > 2. -MMD flag includes system headers on cygwin, but shoud not as on linux > > Who has ported gcc to cygwin? > > Ruediger > > -- > Want to unsubscribe from this list? > Send a message to cygwin-unsubscribe AT sourceware DOT cygnus DOT com -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
