Subject: | Systems mounts changed from binmode to textmode. |
Mime-Version: | 1.0 |
Hi, I found that my system mounts (at least /, /usr/bin/ and /usr/lib) changed from binmode to textmode. It happened on two different machines both with cygwin installed. The only thing I can think of that changed recently that the new version of setup.exe, and installing the bash and ash modules. I think I am running my default file type as DOS. I noticed it because rpm suddenly couldn't read it's database records anymore. I fixed it by exiting all cygwin apps, going in with regedit and changing all the flags for the system mount points from 0x8 to 0xA (hexadecimal). Anybody else experienced this?
