I answered this in my original email. There is no need to add a tag
when you can do filtering on the header.

Well, the fact that I and others abhor the tags and that it is easy to
filter on the headers seems like an adequate reason.

How about investigating the available alternatives yourself? Your mail
agent can filter and we provide tags specifically for this reason.
