Subject: ps output format

Hi,

At the risk of sounding ungrateful...

Is there anything that can be done with ps output format before 1.1.5
is released?

This is what I'm used to (cygwin-1.1.4, this on NT, no ntsec):

starksb AT BRYCE$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-4.0 BRYCE 1.1.4(0.26/3/2) 2000-08-03 20:53 i686 unknown
starksb AT BRYCE$ ps -elf
PID PPID PGID WINPID UID TTY STIME COMMAND
   1538 1530 1538 306 1024 0 21:24:15 /usr/bin/ps.exe
   1000 1000 1000 154 500 -1 Oct 6 /usr/sbin/inetd.exe
   1001 1000 1000 155 500 -1 Oct 6 /usr/sbin/inetd.exe
   1529 1001 1000 281 500 -1 21:00:54 /usr/local/sbin/in.sshd.exe
   1530 1529 1530 81 1024 0 21:01:01 /usr/bin/bash.exe

This is what I get now (2000-10-08 snapshot, this on Win98):

starksb AT STARKSB-P$ uname -a
CYGWIN_98-4.10 STARKSB-P 1.1.5s(0.28/3/2) 2000-10-08 23:55 i586 unknown
starksb AT STARKSB-P$ ps -elf
UID PID PPID TTY STIME COMMAND
 starksb368619 1 0 21:00:45 /usr/local/BIN/RXVT
 starksb339975368619 1 21:00:47 /usr/bin/BASH
 starksb390891339975 1 21:00:52 /usr/local/BIN/RXVT
 starksb784599390891 2 21:00:52 /usr/bin/SSH
 starksb685567339975 1 21:25:42 /usr/bin/PS

(A bit hard on the eyes, not to mention awk!)

Sorry to compare NT against Win98, in case that's a factor, but that's
all I got to work with right now.

Thanks,
David
