Cygwin 1.0?  Is this the CD version of Cygwin?  The current net release is
1.1.4.  Go to http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin/ and click on the install now
icon.

Perhaps the output of `cygcheck -s -r -v' pasted in a mail to the list, not to
me, would be helpful.
