I don't see it in "cygpath --help" for Cygwin 1.1 -- is there an option to have cygpath output the short name for a path, ie.: <input> <output> /mnt/c/Program Files/Emacs -> /mnt/c/PROGRA~1/Emacs C:\Program Files\Emacs -> C:\PROGRA~1\Emacs /mnt/c/Program Files\Emacs -> C:\PROGRA~1\Emacs It would save on having to figure out the quoting needed to handle names with spaces...
