Subject: i960 cross compiler

I'm using WinNT 4.0, current cygwin is installed and running, using
bash...

I tried (and tried) to build a cross compiler, target=i960-coff,
host=i586-cygwin32.

Started by building/installing binutils (same target/host)...that worked
pretty well...only a couple trivial bugs.

Then went on to gcc...configure worked...then did "make all", which went
very far but died. I tried resolving these bugs but gave up.

Any help appreciated or word on the status of building such cross
compilers.

Thanks,
JC
