I have a question about the tar command which is part of the CYGWIN package. Does this CYGWIN-tar exactly the samething as the unix-tar? For instance does the CYGWIN-tar give a exit-code (unix-tar gives an 0 for successful completion and >0 when an error occurred.)? And can you pipe it with DOS-tools? (This all under Windows NT) Thnx already. ----- Arjan _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
