Hi, I have just installed cygwin. The default for the bash shell is to have white text on a black background. Can anyone tell me how to reverse this: black on white background? (I'm not an experienced Unix user, I mainly installed cygwin to have the free C++ and fortran compilers on Windows However, I did a search on the archive, which suggests it has something to do with the termcap file, but I didn't understand what I had top change, assuming that is correct.)
