I think probably not, but I couldn't work out how to change it. But it
seems to be working now anyway, so I won't worry about that ...

Thanks.

But cygwin1.dll is not being found; it is being searched for in
/usr/sbin. I found I needed cp -i /usr/sbin/cygwin1.dll /usr/sbin
