No, it should just work.  CVS should give you a ChangeLog with a
filled-in Revision, unless you checked it out while I was repairing
the CVS database last night :-(

Try deleting ChangeLog and re-updating it:

rm ChangeLog; cvs update ChangeLog

However, I'll try to make the Makefile more robust.
