Sorry, I just assumed it'd be easier to fix/ignore if it was found that it was
just 1 or 2 locales in the world... narrowing it down a bit. Nevermind.

Ok, I know now that it's possible to bind all the ascii key codes with "\xxx". But
what code does DEL have? My MSDN library tells me 8 and 127, but that doesn't
work... or maybe rebinding wouldn't work anyway because it's a problem at a lower
level?
