> "who am i" doesn't output anything. Shouldn't it output my username? "who am i" reports who you logged in as. Since you didn't "log in" to cygwin, it has no record of you. Since it can't find a record of your login (in /var/rum/utmp) it can't report anything. Perhaps what you want is "id -un" ? -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
