Subject: RE: gcc-2.95.2-2 build problem (src tar ball problem?)
MIME-Version: 1.0
From: Niels.S.Olsen/CPH AT manbw DOT dk

Mark,

I (naturally) had the same problem unpacking the gcc sources. Tar complained about libiberty. I resolved that by first creating the directory common/libiberty next to the gcc2.95.2-2/ directory, so that tar could place the files by following the libiberty symlink in gcc-2.95.2-2/. Then tar completes without error.

Best regards,

Niels
