There is another archive/search at http://www.delorie.com/archives/ so
users can pick which one they like best.

The only things stopping "us" from creating a newsgroup are:

* someone has to go through the horrendous effort of doing the
  create-a-newsgroup procedure (calls, votes, due diligence, etc).

* someone has to create and maintain the technology required to tie
  the newsgroup and mailing list, like I do for comp.os.msdos.djgpp
  and djgpp AT delorie DOT com

* we have to agree on a newsgroup name, assuming that the name
  "cygwin" isn't going to change any time soon.
