Subject: Cross-GCC fails with Cygwin DLL 1.1.2
Mime-Version: 1.0
X-Sender: 0644165257-0003 AT t-dialin DOT net

Hello all,

I use a Cross-GCC under Windows NT, which *works* well with Cygwin DLL
1.1.1, but *fails* with Cygwin DLL version 1.1.2. I get the following message:

*** shared region is corrupted. inited 15
0 [main] ? 0 lock_pinfo_for_update: rc 0, pinfo_mutex 0xFFFFFFFF, Win32
error 6

I have compiled the Cross-GCC (Hitachi embedded target sh-elf) under Linux
using the following packages:

binutils-19990818-1
gcc-2.95.2-1
newlib-1.8.2
cygwin-1.1.1

I use Windows NT Workstation 4.0 SP 5. From the error message I guess this
problem is Cygwin DLL related rather than Cross-GCC related. Am I right?
Has anyone seen a similar problem? Any hints what I could do?

Thank you very much

Peter
