Subject: umask ignored
Mime-Version: 1.0

I'm using cygwin-1.1.2 and NT emacs. My CYGWIN is set to "binmode export ntea
tty" and my umask is 027.

When I "touch asdf; ls -l asdf", I get:
-rw-r----- 1 nyap clib 0 blah blah

However, if I create the file using NT emacs, I get:
-rw-r--r-- 1 nyap clib 0 blah blah

I just wanted to report the problem -- it's not a major catastophe for me
(considering it's on FAT, anyway).

Noel
