Installed and tried it out on current gcc snapshot g77.  Found out that the -funroll-loops bug I've been chasing goes away when the
option -fbounds-check is invoked.  Without that option, the code is not stepping properly in the problem area.  But, anyway, the gdb
is pretty slick.
