After some email with Earnie Boyd (earnie_boyd AT yahoo DOT com), I was successful in building from cvs. I did as he suggested: >In the parent of src >mkdir bld >cd bld >../src/configure --prefix=/usr >make and the build succeeded. My question is, how do we fix the cygwin (http://sourceware.cygnus.com/cygwin/cvs.html) web page, where the instructions are: >bash$ cvs login >(Logging in to anoncvs AT anoncvs DOT cygnus DOT com) >CVS password: anoncvs >bash$ cvs checkout winsup and then I did the usual build thing, which was to cd src ./configure make which produced the original problems with "install-sh not found". ---------------------------- John Paulson PowerTV, Inc.
