Subject: current gcc snapshot not finding library functions bindtextdomain(), textdomain(), gettext()

I suppose that the functions bindtextdomain(), textdomain(), gettext() have not been required by gcc until now. They were not
missed when testing the 20000531 snapshot. Would this be a mis-configuration, or is there recommended ported support for these?
