Subject: path finding problems in gcc snapshot builds
To: cygwin AT sourceware DOT cygnus DOT com
MIME-Version: 1.0
X-Mailer: AOL 5.1 for Windows sub 32

I am seeing a few cases in the build of gcc snapshots where there seems to be
a failure to follow paths, as the hurdles can be
crossed by changing directories.

My installation:

W2K RC2
cygwin-1.1.0 + 0510 snapshot + current ash
cwilson tools

1. makeinfo fails when making g77.info in the build directory. It runs OK in
the source directory where all the .texi files are.
No problem with the other .info files; they build normally.

2. cc1plus is hanging while building libio. This can be corrected by
changing into the libio build directory after it is
configured, doing make there, then returning to the top build directory.
