Hi,

I installed the tool  mktclapp - its really great.

I had no problems to let it run on IRIX6.5.,
but on windows98 it didnt work.

On windows98 I am using 

cygwin-20000301.tar.gz, 
binutils-199908-1.tar.gz,
gcc 2.95.2-1.tar.gz and 
tcltk.tar.gz 

The application mktclapp translates the program
hello.tcl to hello.c.
The compilation of hello.c in a DOS-Shell
gcc hello.c -ltk80 -ltcl80 -lm -mwindows 
stops with:
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/2.95.2/../../../../include/tk.h:77:
X11/Xlib.h: no such file or directory

If I take off X11/Xlib, 
there are many parse errors in file tk.h. and 
at the end there is no executable file.


1. Did I have install the right versions ?
2. Is there maybe something missing ?
I am thinking of the xfree package.
Should it maybe possible, 
that it is a must to install this 13MB package 
just for having this one library. 
The README file about cygwin
(http://sourceware.cygnus.com/cygwin/download.html)
says nothing about the xfree package. It says that the
requirements are gcc, binutils and cygwin.

Any idea what to do?
