Subject: | hanging filename completion, path dependent |
There is a weird hanging problem if I do the following: cd /home some-command ../dir/x<TAB> where I use the shell filename completion function to produce the file name on the command line. The shell delays for about half a minute, then beeps. cd .. some-command dir/x<TAB> works as expected on the same file. Adressing the file via ../dir/x... without filename completion works, too.
