Has anyone successfully compiled/installed uuencode/uudecode from
sharutils-4.2? I tried to compile it, but the generated binaries fail
the checks (are broken). Same applies to those binaries found in
Michael Hirmkes 
ftp://ftp.franken.de/pub/win32/develop/gnuwin32/cygwin/porters/Hirmke_Michael/B20/sharutiles-4.2c-* 
distrib.

What works, though, is the uudeview program found at the same site.
