Subject: 2 bugs

Now that there has been quite a lot interesting response on this funny
little problem ("xy."), I am wondering if someone could come up with a
solution to one of the other problems I had reported.

In contrast to the above, the apparent unavailability of one of the
keypad keys ("5" in function key mode) to applications is a
serious limitation.

The refusal of whatever component to pass through this key is actually
an unbearable denial of trivial functionality if, by any means, it
should have come on purpose or by deliberate ignorance as might be
suspected considering the rare use of that key by applications.

Kind regards,
Thomas Wolff
