I found the reverse engineering tools reimp and pexports
from the Gnu-win32 lib and dll tools page
http://www.acc.umu.se/~anorland/gnu-win32/index.html
I found it by going to http://sourceware.cygnus.com/cygwin/
doing a search.

These tools and objdump have made it easy to unbundle
DLLs for making static archive .a files for linking. I have
an .LIB file that it these tools cannot decipher. The error
message is "File format not recognized". Is this an older
DOS file format? Is it worthwhile using an object from
this type of library?
