This is normal as you probably have all the debug info in the executable. You
can 'strip' these and the file be substantially smaller.

Subject: I got huge big binaries with Cygwin B20.1

Working with Windows NT 4.0 SP6
I get giant binaries when I compile
a C++ source code. I tried a little
'HelloWorld!'-Application without
any GUI just using the iostream.h
and my binary was about 460 KB big.

Has anyone the same problems?

Martin
