Someone raised a good point in private email. My phrase "runs under" is misleading so let me try again: I want to write CORBA clients and CORBA object implementations that have full access to the Cygwin API (i.e., are linked with the Cygwin DLLs). Ideally, I'd like an in-process ORB, one that links with a Cygwin-based application. I've read that in-process ORBs are common but is there one for Cygwin? --- James Stern <jsternitg AT yahoo DOT com> wrote: > Is there a CORBA ORB for Cygwin? > > So far I've learned: > > * The TAO documentation talks about building TAO > using Cygwin tools but it doesn't say that TAO runs > under Cygwin. > > * The list of CORBA vendors at > <URL:http://www.vex.net/~ben/corba/platmatrix.html> > doesn't mention Cygwin either. > > > ===== > -- > Opinions expressed above are not necessarily my > employer's. > James M.
