Subject: | Errors in documentation of Cygwin CD 1.0 |
Hello folks. There are two small error in the documentation which is part of the Cygwin 1.0 package: - Pages 60 and 63 do contain examples of mount tables. The entries for tape devices have wrong native device names. They must not have trailing colons. So \\.\tape0: is incorrect while \\.\tape0 is correct. - At the end of page 57 are examples of /etc/passwd and /etc/group files. The output is malformed due to formatting problems. Of course each entry in both files should be on a single line without trailing backslash as they are on U*X systems. Hope, this helps, Corinna -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
