I have also seen the problem compiling with Cygwin 1.0 in at least two
cases. Compiling Lesstif-0.89.9 with -O2 crashes during compilation of
XmString with the stackdump below. In the other instance, I avoided the
problem using -O, but I haven't tried that strategy with LessTif.

Both Lesstif and the other program compiled fine with gcc-2.95.
