I'm trying to get the man command to work with cygwin and don't seem to be having much luck. I downloaded man, groff, and troff for the cygwin site. I have the man pages in MANPATH but when I use man it can't find the man page. Any help would be appreciated. The error i'm getting: for the comman "man strings" syntax error: got (, expecting ) Error executing formatting ro display command. System command (cd /usr/local/man ; (echo -e ".pl 1100i"; cat /usr/local/man/man1/strings.q; echo ".pl \n(nlu+10") | /usr/local/bin/tbl | /usr/local/bin/groff -Tlatin1 -mandoc | /bin/less -is) exited with status 256. No manusl entry for strings my MANPATH = /usr/local/man Thanks, Carson __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
