------=_NextPart_000_0024_01BF2069.9D142020 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Greetings, I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to see the command line arguments passed to a program by using a command like ps? e.g. Say I run 'perl myscript.pl -bla -yaddayadda' When doing a ps (even a ps -aelf) I only get the 'perl' and no command line args. Anyone have any ideas how to get this info (even from another command)? Please cc replies to sasha AT alterna DOT com cheers, Sasha Romanosky ldap://certserver.pgp.com for PGP key ------=_NextPart_000_0024_01BF2069.9D142020 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD W3 HTML//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D'"MSHTML 4.72.3110.7"' name=3DGENERATOR> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2>Greetings, </FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2>I'm=20 wondering if anyone knows a way to see the command</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2></FONT></SPAN><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT = color=3D#0000ff=20 face=3DArial size=3D2>line arguments passed to a program by using a=20 command</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2></FONT></SPAN><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT = color=3D#0000ff=20 face=3DArial size=3D2>like ps?</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2></FONT></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2>e.g.=20 Say I run 'perl myscript.pl -bla -yaddayadda'</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2></FONT></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2>When=20 doing a ps (even a ps -aelf) I only get the 'perl'</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2></FONT></SPAN><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT = color=3D#0000ff=20 face=3DArial size=3D2>and no command line args. </FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2></FONT></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2>Anyone=20 have any ideas how to get this info</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2></FONT></SPAN><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT = color=3D#0000ff=20 face=3DArial size=3D2>(even from another command)?</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2></FONT></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2>Please=20 cc replies to <A=20 href=3D"mailto:sasha AT alterna DOT com">sasha AT alterna DOT com</A></FONT></SPAN></DI= V> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2></FONT></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=3D965405016-27101999><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial = size=3D2>cheers, </FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2><FONT color=3D#0000ff>Sasha = Romanosky</FONT></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2><FONT color=3D#0000ff>ldap://certserver.pgp.com for = PGP=20 key</FONT></FONT><FONT color=3D#0000ff> </FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV></BODY></HTML> ------=_NextPart_000_0024_01BF2069.9D142020--
