Hi,

Does any of you have had any luck installing Linux on a laptop?

I have a Dell Inspiron (Pentium II 400Mhz,64MB,10GB)
on which I currently have Windows 98. You know the headaches
with this M$ OS. I would like to make it dual boot and install
Linux. But, I'm a bit worried if it would cause any problems, because
they use a lot of proprietory stuff in these laptops.

Any suggestion or insights on this issue are most welcome,
- Tirumal
